I worked with my client to create a driveway to introduce the wider gardens surrounding a beautiful stone house.

My aim was to create gardens with different atmospheres, a driveway with parking, and to introduce the gardens with gentle interventions in the this historic garden. A garden of light, an Amelanchier Meadow and a Long Pergola.

The garden embraces seasonality with the planting changing and developing through from spring to autumn. In winter the structure of the garden, the evergreen plants and skeletons of the expressive multistem trees come to the fore.
