I worked with my clients to create a garden that linked the house with the stunning landscape beyond.

In blurring the boundaries between garden and countryside, the house feels within the landscape.

​

There are substantial changes in level which, have been used to full effect with a dramatic waterfall. 

​

The reflective pool on the upper level, references the river beyond, and brings the same colour into the garden as the river beyond.

​

There is a balance between crisp paving and clipped lawn, with loose expressive wild flowers and herbaceous planting as the garden disolves into the fields beyond.
